Professional Meeting on Television Journalism Held at Atyrau University

A master class titled “Television Journalism: Practical Steps in Preparing a Report” was organized by the Media Center of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The event aimed to familiarize students with current national television journalism standards and create a platform for professional exchange.

 

Students majoring in Journalism attended the session. Special guests included Nursultan Nurseit, regional correspondent of the national TV channel QAZAQSTAN in the Atyrau Region, and Aslanbek Shygyr, regional correspondent of 24KZ TV channel.

 

During the meeting, Rector Salamat Idrissov emphasized the responsible mission of journalism in society and highlighted the importance of such professional engagements for future specialists. Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts Salimgerey Bolatkaliuly also addressed participants, noting the importance of continuity between academic knowledge and professional practice in the media field.

 

In the main part of the session, the invited speakers discussed the specifics of a television journalist’s work and the practical steps in preparing a news report. Nursultan Nurseit spoke about the responsibility of working for a national broadcaster, while Aslanbek Shygyr highlighted the importance of language accuracy and professional speech.

 

The meeting concluded with an open discussion, during which students received answers to their questions.
