On June 28, 2002, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences in the specialty 07.00.02. – History of the Fatherland (History of the Republic of Kazakhstan). On October 29, 2010, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences in the specialty 07.00.02. – History of the Fatherland (History of the Republic of Kazakhstan). Since 2011, Doctor of Historical Sciences. The main scientific direction: Scientific research is devoted to the history of statehood on the territory of Kazakhstan, historical events of the XVIII-XX centuries. It presents the political history, economy, social situation of the Kazakh statehood, movements against the policy of the Russian state on the Kazakh land, the upheavals of the political power of the Kazakh statehood, the personalities who led the country, the measures taken by them to preserve the Kazakh statehood, scientific research of the tsarist Russian government in the direction of colonization of the Kazakh country, scientists, specialists, military personnel who participated in several expeditions, the results of their scientific research, the history of the Orenburg Scientific Archival Commission, the formation of archives, museums and libraries before the October Revolution, Kazakh educators who participated in the work of the scientific institution, their efforts to revive statehood in the early ХХ century, the history of the repressive correctional labor camps of Soviet Kazakhstan, research on the history of the region, other historical events.
