Beibit Mamrayev Holds a Public Reception at Atyrau University

Today, the newly elected Chair of the Public Council of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, statesman and public figure, Professor Beibit Mamrayev, held a public reception at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DXS5MY3fE/?mibextid=wwXIfr).  

During the public reception, members of the university’s faculty and staff voiced a number of proposals related to key changes in the higher education sector, the modernization of academic programs, and the contribution of the region to the development of scientific research. In recent years, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the scope of research activities has expanded, international cooperation has strengthened, and recognition within the global academic community has increased. Research conducted by regional scholars in the training of pedagogical specialists, inclusion, artificial intelligence, the ecology of the Caspian Sea, fisheries, and agriculture continues to make a significant contribution to the development of national science.

At the same time, participants of the public reception expressed concern over delays in the construction of a new student residence and an academic and laboratory building to replace a dormitory and an educational facility that have been declared unsafe. They requested that this issue be brought to the attention of the Public Council for further consideration.
