“Values of Independence: Lessons from History and a Just Kazakhstan”
Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University hosted a roundtable discussion on the topic “Values of Independence: Lessons from History and a Just Kazakhstan.” The event was aimed at deepening the study of the history of independence, revitalizing historical consciousness, and promoting the values of a Just Kazakhstan.
The session was moderated by Saipulla Sapanov, Director of the Research Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnology of the Caspian Region named after Kh.B. Tabildiev, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and Professor.
The roundtable was opened by Salamat Nurmukhanuly Idrissov, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University, who congratulated the participants, emphasized the historical significance of independence and the importance of instilling its values in the younger generation, and wished the event success.
During the discussion, Professor Shakhman Nagymuly Nagymov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Chairman of the Veterans’ Council, presented a report titled “Lessons from the December Events,” highlighting the importance of this period in the nation’s history. In addition, Akhmеt Akkali Kabizhanuly, Senior Researcher at the Research Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnology of the Caspian Region, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor, delivered a presentation on “The Echo of December in Atyrau.”
Within the framework of the roundtable, Jamiga Tajikkyzy, Senior Researcher at the same institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor, presented a report titled “Historical Figures in the History of Independence,” accompanied by a presentation of her book “Collection of Documents.”
