Literary Evening “Zhuregime zhakyn zhyrlar” Held

A literary evening titled “ Zhuregime zhakyn zhyrlar” (Poems close to my heart) was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University through the joint organization of the Scientific Library, the Caspian Region Multidisciplinary Higher College, and the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature.

The event was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, an outstanding poet and the author of the lyrics of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the evening, students introduced the audience to the poet’s rich literary heritage and delivered expressive readings from his heartfelt poems. Special inspiration was provided by the winners of regional and city-level Zhumeken Readings, whose performances left a strong emotional impression on the audience.

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Akhmet Akkali Kabizhanuly shared insightful reflections on the poet’s life journey, his enduring legacy in history, and meaningful episodes from his life. Meanwhile, Master of Pedagogical Sciences Zhanargul Amantaykyzy Yeskalieva emphasized the importance of such literary events in fostering the spiritual and moral development of the younger generation.

The Head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Gulzira Ayapova, also contributed to the successful organization of the event by supporting active student participation.

At the conclusion of the evening, leading specialist of the Scientific Library Zauresh Ibrasheva expressed gratitude to the participants and presented valuable books as commemorative gifts.
