Creative Competition Held at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts

A creative competition was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. The main goal of the competition was to enhance the professional skills and expand the practical knowledge of students majoring in Journalism and Information.

The competition consisted of four stages, during which teams completed tasks such as video production, storytelling, a quiz, and crisis simulation. The judging panel included well-known journalist Zhanar Nizamutdinova, Editor-in-Chief of Caspian News, as well as members of the university’s faculty.

The Dean of the Faculty, Salimgerey Aimuratov, expressed his support for the event, delivered a congratulatory speech, and thanked the organizers for their initiative.

Following the results of all four stages, the winners were announced:
        •🥉 3rd place – RealNews team (2nd-year students);
        •🥈 2nd place – For Exclusive team (3rd-year students);
        •🥇 1st place – Qalam team, which particularly impressed the jury.

According to the author of the idea, student Sanіm Marat, students often face challenges in combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. “We realized this especially when we won second place at a subject Olympiad held in Astana. That is why I proposed organizing a professional competition within our department. The idea was immediately supported, and I hope this event will become a tradition in the future,” she noted.

We believe that MEDIA INTELLEKT will become an important platform for young journalists to showcase their potential, strengthen their professional competencies, and gain valuable practical experience.
