Special Event “Legacy of a Teacher” Held at Atyrau University

A meaningful event dedicated to Mustafa Ozturk, an international master and 6th-degree black belt who made a significant contribution to the development of taekwondo in Kazakhstan, was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

The event was attended by his daughter Neslikhan Ozturk, his brother Omir Tayzhi, as well as Kairat Kyrgyzbayev, Director of the Mustafa Ozturk Center, Nurbol Sadykov, Head of the Regional Sports Department, and Murat Saktayuly, Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans. Guests shared valuable insights about Mustafa Ozturk’s career as a martial artist and his efforts in fostering national spirit.

It was also announced that a new street in the Balausa neighborhood and a park dedicated to his memory have been named after Mustafa Ozturk - a significant tribute to the founder of Kazakh taekwondo.

During the event, students performed, creating a special spiritual impression for the guests.

Mustafa Ozturk remains a symbol of national pride and discipline. His legacy serves as an inspiring example for younger generations.
