“Endowment Fund: A Guarantee for the New Century’s Development”

A significant meeting dedicated to the launch of the Endowment Fund was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Salamat Idrissov, board members, faculty deans, and heads of structural divisions. Bakyt Omirkhanuly Altynbasarov, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization, provided a comprehensive presentation on the importance of the Endowment Fund and its operational principles.

During the meeting, the purpose of the Endowment Fund was explained: it is a long-term sustainable model designed to preserve donations received by the university and finance its development strategy solely through investment income. This model is widely used in leading universities worldwide and enables the sustainable development of academic, research, and infrastructure projects.

The event reaffirmed that the Endowment Fund is a strategically important initiative for the university’s long-term successful development. A comprehensive action plan was assigned to implement the fund’s establishment and management mechanisms.
