Legal Awareness Meeting Held with Students as Part of the “Law and Order” Project
At Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, an important legal awareness meeting was held with students as part of the “Law and Order” project, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Law, the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, and the Atyrau Regional Police Department.
The main goal of the event was to enhance students’ legal culture, introduce them to the work of law enforcement agencies, and provide professional guidance.
The meeting brought together:
- Yernar Abzaluly - religious scholar and historian;
- Mariana Zhangaliyeva - Police Lieutenant Colonel, Department for Combating Drug Crime;
- Zhardem Tagayev - Chief Criminalist;
- Dauren Mukhanbetaliyev - Police Captain, Cybercrime Counteraction Department;
- Aidyn Lukpanov - Police Captain.
The speakers provided essential information on religious literacy among youth, prevention of drug-related crime, basics of criminalistics, types of cybercrimes, and procedures for employment in police service.
Coinciding with Student’s Day, the event also recognized active members of the Law Clinic with Certificates of Appreciation and special gifts.
At the end of the meeting, canine specialists demonstrated practical methods of detecting narcotic substances with the help of the service dog Khan, offering students real-life practical experience.
