Training Seminar on Corruption Prevention Held
With the support of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, a training seminar was held as part of the “Law and Order” campaign and the project “Legal Education of Youth - the Basis of Anti-Corruption Mindset”, organized jointly by the Atyrau regional branch of the “JANARU” National Anti-Corruption Movement and the University’s Research Center. The seminar aimed to train specialists working with youths and adolescents under special supervision and to enhance their professional competencies.
Participants included juvenile police officers, teachers from schools and lyceums, representatives of higher colleges, specialists from youth resource centers, and psychologists. The main objectives of the seminar were to strengthen the professional skills of specialists working with youths under special supervision, introduce modern approaches and effective methods for preventing deviant behavior, and develop practical skills for applying psychological and corrective techniques when working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors. Additionally, issues related to improving the professional potential of social workers and educators to prevent youth involvement in unlawful activities were discussed.
Speakers at the seminar included S.N. Idrissov - Director of the Atyrau Regional Branch of the “JANARU” National Anti-Corruption Movement, N.N. Nigmetollaev and N.K. Nauryzov - Department Prosecutors of the Atyrau Regional Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Kazakhstan, G.K. Karabaliyeva - Regional Psychologist and Art Therapist, A.Zh. Saginbayeva and Bibinur Isataykyzy - Psychologists and Art Therapists at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, and N.A. Lukmanova - Professional Mediator of Atyrau Region.
At the conclusion of the event, participants were awarded special certificates for their participation.
