“Stop Fraud!” Video Contest Reached Its Finale

At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, as part of the “Law and Order” project, a video contest titled “Stop Fraud!” was held to raise students’ legal awareness and prevent online fraud.

Students from 1st to 4th year participated, submitting 50 videos in the first stage. Based on the commission’s evaluation of technical and content requirements, 11 top videos advanced to the second stage. These videos were published on Instagram using the hashtags #StopFraud, #LawAndOrder, and #CyberCrimeKZ.

The winners were announced at the final meeting on November 11: 

• 1st place - Dias Tazhkenov (Faculty of Economics and Law)
• 2nd place - Miras Kenzhegaliyev (Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Information Technologies)
• 3rd place - Nursaule Serik (Faculty of Economics and Law)

The main goal of the contest was to promote internet safety and cultivate a culture of fraud prevention among young people.

The winners were selected by a special commission, which included Lyaila Yerbolatkyzy Koishyghulova, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy; Dauren Maksimovich Mukhanbetaliyev, Field Officer of the Cybercrime Department of Atyrau Regional Police; Shyngys Nurzhanuly Mukhambetkaliyev, Anti-Corruption Compliance Officer; Gulmira Nauryzbayevna Bakhshatova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Law; and Sairan Sabyruly Seifullin, Head of the Youth Policy Department.
