Scientific Seminar “560 Years of the Kazakh Khanate: History and the Present” Held at Atyrau University
At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the Department of History of Kazakhstan and World History, together with the H.B. Tabyldiev Research Institute of Caspian Region History, Archaeology, and Ethnology, organized a scientific seminar titled “560 Years of the Kazakh Khanate: History and the Present.”
The event brought together doctors of historical sciences, professors, foreign scholars, young researchers, and master’s students. During the seminar, participants discussed topics such as the historiography of the Kazakh Khanate, the genealogy of Abulkhair Khan’s dynasty, the struggle of Aringazy Khan, and the expansionist policy of Imperial Russia.
Among the invited speakers were Professor Domininkas Burba from Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) and doctoral researcher Said Khavarinejad from Tomsk National Research University (Russia), who presented their research findings on related historical themes.
The seminar concluded with a summary by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Leskali Berdigozhin, who highlighted key outcomes and invited participants to share their insights and recommendations.
