Rector Congratulates Athlete Alfiya Tilekkabyl on Her Latest Victory

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Salamat Idrissov, welcomed the winner of the 2025 IBSA Judo Grand Prix held in Giza, the pride of our university, Alfiya Tilekkabyl, along with her coach, the skilled trainer Zhandos Kiyanov.

The rector congratulated the champion on her victory, emphasizing that her achievement on the world stage not only raises the prestige of the nation but also serves as an inspiring example for young people. He also highlighted the significant contribution of her coach to the athlete’s success and wished them the best of luck in upcoming international competitions.

At the prestigious tournament in Giza, Kazakhstan’s national para-judo team took 2nd place in the overall standings. In this event, participant of the 2024 Paralympic Games, World Cup winner, and 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Alfiya Tilekkabyl (-52 kg, J1), confidently defeated her opponents and claimed the gold medal.

This victory is a great source of pride not only for our university and region but also for the entire country.
