
University scientists receive grant funding
Scientific development in Kazakhstan is reaching new heights, driven by consistent state support and strategic investments in research and innovation.
As instructed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the volume of funding allocated to scientific research has been steadily increasing each year, significantly boosting the competitiveness of domestic science and contributing to the growth of the nation’s intellectual and innovative potential.
Leading scholars of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University have been awarded government grants totaling over 260 million tenge through the national competition for grant funding of scientific and/or scientific-technical projects for the period of 2025–2027.
Within the framework of the grant competition for scientific-technical projects, the following research studies received funding:
- Project AP26101249: "Development of a Concept for Effective and Safe Gamification of School Education" under the leadership of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor S. Idrisov;
- Project AP26100713: "Fundamental Principles for Creating Durable Asphalt Concrete Pavements Using Recycled Polymers and Lignin to Address Environmental and Infrastructure Challenges" under the leadership of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor G. Shambilova.
Additionally, two projects were selected as winners under the “Zhas Galym” program for 2025–2027:
- Project AP25795485: "The Linguocognitive Nature of Hydronyms in the Onomastic Space of Western Kazakhstan", led by A. Dautkulova;
- Project AP25796073: "Development of a Methodology for Creating a Distance Learning Platform Based on the Principles of Artificial Intelligence", led by M. Rakhmetov.
These projects aim to enhance the scientific potential of the university and contribute significantly to the advancement of domestic science.
