Military Department Graduates Took the Oath in a Solemn Ceremony

A solemn military oath-taking ceremony was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University for graduates of the university’s Military Department, who completed the reserve junior sergeant training program.

The event was attended not only by students but also by university leadership, representatives and veterans of the armed forces, as well as parents of the graduates.

During the ceremony, congratulatory remarks were delivered by Marat Murziyev, Deputy Akim of Atyrau Region; Serik Absamatov, retired Lieutenant Colonel of Justice; Askar Shmanov, Head of the Atyrau Regional Branch of the Veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Lyailya Koishygulova, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs of Atyrau University. A warm message was also shared by Gulmira Zulkarnayeva on behalf of the parents, offering kind wishes to the young soldiers.

It is worth noting that students who entered the Military Department were selected based on strict criteria, including health, physical fitness, stress resilience, and academic performance. Throughout their training, they successfully passed all tests and joined the ranks of the top performers.

As part of the ceremony, the platoons presented demonstrations of their military training. The first platoon showcased drill techniques with and without weapons, while the second platoon performed hand-to-hand combat skills.
