Today, the official opening ceremony of the “ALTYN ORDA” World Cup in traditional archery took place at the sports ground of Kh. Dosmukhameduly Atyrau University. The archery competition will continue until September 15.
The international tournament brings together more than 100 archers from 18 countries, as well as over 100 athletes from Kazakhstan. The opening ceremony was attended by Governor of Atyrau Region Bolat Akchulakov, representatives of the National Sports Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Chairman of the Board – Rector of Atyrau University Salamat Idrissov, who wished the athletes success in the competition.
Hosting the “ALTYN ORDA” World Cup in Atyrau is an important step towards developing traditional archery and promoting national sports at the international level.
Students of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University are also actively contributing to the international competition as volunteers. They assist international athletes, provide interpretation support, and gain valuable experience in an international environment.
Participation in international events of this scale provides Atyrau University students with a valuable opportunity to develop their professional, language, and communication skills while gaining practical experience.
