Literary Meeting “Local History in the Art of Words” Held

A literary meeting titled “Local History in the Art of Words” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University in celebration of National Book Day. The event brought together local authors and readers.

 

The main goal of the event was to promote the history and culture of the native region, introduce the works of local writers to a wider audience, and increase young people’s interest in literature. The meeting gathered teachers, students, and book lovers.

 

Among the participants were Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Chairman of the Veterans Council Shakhman Nagimov; Professor of the Pedagogical Academy, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and member of the Writers’ Union Bakytzhan Musagali; Honored Writer of Kazakhstan Tolegen Zhanabayuly; second-year master’s student and poet Rakhymzhan Orynbsar; and master’s student Zhansaya Sabyrgaliyeva.

 

During the event, local authors shared insights into their creative journeys and works, engaging in an open dialogue with participants. Readers actively asked questions, leading to meaningful discussions.

 

The event also provided an opportunity for participants to become more closely acquainted with local literary heritage.
