Scientific Foundations and Practical Significance of Izen Seed Stratification

A scientific roundtable titled “Scientific Foundations and Practical Significance of Izen Seed Stratification” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The purpose of the event was to discuss the role of the izen plant in arid and saline soil ecosystems, as well as to scientifically examine innovative methods for its conservation and propagation.

 

During the roundtable, participants discussed the biology of the izen plant and its importance for the region, methods for increasing seed productivity (stratification), as well as the results of scientific monitoring and laboratory research. Attention was also given to initiatives aimed at developing environmental awareness.

 

The event was attended by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Bolat Mukhambetov, and Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Khansulu Kuspangaliyeva, who shared their scientific experience.

 

At the conclusion of the event, participants put forward scientifically grounded recommendations on the effective use, conservation, and propagation of the izen plant, and emphasized the need for further research in this area.
