Class Concert Held in Conducting Course

A class concert was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University as part of the “Conducting with Orchestra” course led by Senior Lecturer Kuanyshkali Kipiyev. Organized by the Department of Music and Art, the event aimed to showcase the professional skills and creative pursuits of aspiring young conductors.
As part of the event, a presentation of Kuanyshkali Kipiyev’s new book “Fundamentals of Conducting Technique” took place, accompanied by live performances of songs and instrumental pieces.
“Dear art enthusiasts! Welcome to the final concert showcasing the achievements of Kuanyshkali Kipiyev’s students in mastering the art of conducting. Both the performers in the orchestra and those conducting it are students who have chosen this path out of a love for the arts and creativity. We wish them great success in their artistic journey and professional development. I also extend my congratulations to Kuanyshkali Kipiyev on the release of his new work Fundamentals of Conducting Technique,” said Salamat Idrissov, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Atyrau University.
During the concert, the book Fundamentals of Conducting Technique was officially unveiled by Honored Educator of the Republic of Kazakhstan, recipient of the “Kurmet” Order and choirmaster, Makysh Gaisina, together with Rector Salamat Idrissov.
In the ceremonial part of the evening, the folk instrument orchestra was conducted by fourth-year students Zeyinbek Khamza, Diana Mukasheva, Yerkebulan Asylanuly, Perizat Nurbolat, and Gulsezim Shapiyeva, who served as assistant conductors.
The concert also featured performances by guest vocalists and senior lecturers: Honored Cultural Worker of Kazakhstan, Marzhan Torekhanova, who performed the song “Iligai”, and laureate of international and national competitions Akkenezhe Shauzhanova, who delivered a heartfelt rendition of “Izdedim Seni”.
Audience members and participants praised the students’ artistic creativity and professional skills, offering warm congratulations and words of encouragement.
