Institute Mission:
- Conduct fundamental and applied research aimed at implementing the principles of ecologically sustainable development;
- Contribute to the protection of the environment and human health by developing innovative solutions in the fields of biotechnology and nanotechnology;
- Enhance the country’s scientific and technological capacity by introducing research results into industry and agriculture.
Institute Objectives:
1. Conduct comprehensive research on the state of ecosystems and propose ways to use natural resources efficiently;
2. Address environmental issues through biotechnological methods (bioremediation, waste treatment, biological fertilizers, etc.);
3. Develop new interdisciplinary research directions and establish international scientific collaboration;
4. Develop the scientific potential of young people, train scientific personnel, and implement professional development programmes.
