Open Lecture by an Alumnus: Career Path in Water Resource Management

On March 19, 2025, students of Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov attended an open lecture delivered by the 2019 graduate Nurlan Raiymbek, a representative of the Zhaiyk-Caspian Basin Inspection. During the meeting, the speaker discussed his professional activities in the field of water resource protection and regulation, the main responsibilities of the basin inspection, and monitoring the rational use and protection of water bodies. Special attention was given to environmental safety, prevention of river and reservoir pollution, and compliance with environmental legislation. Nurlan Raiymbek also shared his personal career journey, the specifics of working as a state inspector, and the importance of responsibility and professional competence in the environmental sector.
