Atyrau University Students Win at JasSpace Project Challenge 2024

On October 26, 2024, as part of the JasScience initiative aimed at developing technical skills among youth in the Atyrau region, a STEAM-based competition JasSpace Project Challenge 2024 was held. The project was implemented jointly with Caravan of Knowledge NGO, the Eurasian Central Asian Foundation NGO, and Chevron. 3rd-year students of the 6B05201 – “Applied Ecology” program at Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, Aliya Tezekbayeva and Araylym Adilbekova, participated in the competition. Their project demonstrated creativity, scientific rigor, and practical significance, earning them 3rd place. The students’ project involved research and experimental work aimed at addressing pressing environmental challenges in the region using STEAM technologies. Participation in the competition helped students develop teamwork, project management, and presentation skills. This achievement serves as an excellent example of combining academic knowledge with practical application of innovative approaches.
