Guest Lecture on Tengizchevroil Production Processes for Ecology Department Students

On October 29, 2024, a guest lecture was held at the Department of Ecology of Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov for 3rd-year students of the 6B05201 – “Applied Ecology” program. The lecture was delivered by Alibek Akilbekovich Khairliyev, Production Operations Consultant at Tengizchevroil. During the lecture, students were introduced to the structure and organization of production processes at the Tengiz field, modern methods of oil extraction and processing, industrial and environmental safety systems, and measures to minimize environmental impact. Special attention was given to well operation technologies, waste management, quality control, and environmental monitoring. Students gained practical insights into the work of oil and gas specialists, opportunities for internships, and career development in large industrial enterprises. The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students could clarify specific aspects of the production process.
