Round Table on Shoaling and Pollution of the Ural River and Biodiversity Conservation

On November 11, 2024, a round table on “Environmental Issues of Shoaling and Bottom Pollution of the Ural River and Ways to Preserve Biodiversity” was held with the participation of representatives from the following organizations: Nazerke Talgatkyzy Makhmetova – Head of the Science and Monitoring Department, Akzhaiyk State Nature Reserve, Committee of Forestry and Wildlife, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Marzhangul Sanimzhanovna Segizbayeva – Engineer-Chemist, Atyrau Branch, RSE “Kazhydromet”. Baken Bolatkhanovich Bolatkhanov – Director of the Center for Comprehensive Environmental Services, JSC CaspiyMunayGas Research and Design Institute. Sapar Doskaraevich Tursynbekov – Head of Laboratory and Analytical Control Department, Department of Ecology of Atyrau Region, Committee of Environmental Regulation and Control, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by PhD, Associate Professor Z.S. Yesenamanova, responsible for the scientific work of the Department of Ecology of Atyrau University, and PhD, Associate Professor A.E. Tlepbergenova, responsible for organizing student internships in the Department of Ecology.
