Biography
RAIKHAN SAGITZHANOVNA UTALIYEVA is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, an experienced researcher, and a qualified administrator in the field of higher education.
She graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Atyrau Pedagogical Institute in 1993 and later obtained a second higher education degree in 1999 from Atyrau Oil and Gas Institute in “Economics and Management of Enterprises.”
She began her professional career in education and worked for many years at Atyrau Oil and Gas Institute. Later, she served as Head of the Department of Management (2013–2023) at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University. She is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law.
In 2006, she successfully defended her candidate dissertation in “General Pedagogy, Pedagogy and History of Education, Ethnopedagogy” and was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. Her scientific interests include management, time management, personnel management, and strategic management.
Raikhan Sagitzhanovna is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including 1 copyright certificate, 4 textbooks, and 2 monographs. Under her supervision, more than 30 master’s students have successfully defended their research works. She has also published 6 articles in high-impact journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, and more than 40 works in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a lecturer, she teaches courses such as “Management,” “Time Management,” “Strategic Management,” and “Human Resource Management.” She is the author of textbooks including “Operational and Production Management” (2021), “HR Management” (2022), “Management” (2023), and “Corporate Media Communications Management” (2024). She has also authored monographs such as “Analysis and Assessment of the Role of Foreign Direct Investment in the Socio-Economic Development of Kazakhstan” (2018) and “Kazakhstan–Europe Cooperation: Trade and Economic Aspects” (2020).
For international academic exchange, she completed internships at the University of Düsseldorf in Germany in 2018 and at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Turkey in 2022.
Her contributions have been highly recognized and awarded, including a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2016), the “Best Teacher – 2017” grant and badge (2018), the badge “Excellent Educator in Higher and Postgraduate Education” (2020), and the Honorary Diploma for Excellence in Higher Education in 2024.
