Moldasheva Samal Kazikhanovna

Master of Humanities, Senior Lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and World History, PhD student at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. In 1998, she graduated from the K. Satpayev Gymnasium No. 19 in Atyrau. In the same year, she entered the Faculty of History and Philology of Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov and graduated in 2003 with a qualification as a teacher of History and Geography. In 2003–2004, she worked as a teacher of Geography and Ecology at School No. 1 in Atyrau. From 2004 to 2016, she worked as a research fellow and head of a department at the Atyrau Regional Museum of Local History. In 2016–2017, she served as a research expert in the Scientific and Expert Department of the Municipal State Institution “Kogamdyk Kelisim” under the Office of the Akim of Atyrau Region. Since 2017, she has been working at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. She has held various positions, including Methodologist at the Faculty of Humanities and Foreign Languages; in 2019, Lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and World History of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts; in 2020–2021, Deputy Dean for Strategic Development and Research at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts; Senior Lecturer in 2022; In 2017, she participated in the competition for the best research projects dedicated to the Kazakhstani model of social harmony and national unity, organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and won second place with a research project entitled “Ethnopolitics in the Public Administration System: The Experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. In 2020–2021, she worked as a research fellow in the university research project “The Socio-Political Life of Atyrau Region in the 1920–1940s (Confiscation, Collectivization, and Political Repressions)”. Member of the Regional Commission on the Full Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression in Atyrau Region (2021–2023). She has received Letters of Appreciation from the Republican Methodological Consulting Educational Center “Nursultan” (2019), the Atyrau Regional branch of the National Center for Professional Development “Orleu” — Institute for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers (2020), the Nur Otan political party (2021), the Atyrau City Maslikhat (2023), and the Sectoral Trade Union of Education, Science and Higher Education Workers of Kazakhstan (2025). In accordance with her research interests, she has published scholarly articles in international and national scientific journals and has participated in international and national scientific and practical conferences. Research interests: National History, Demography, Political Repressions.
