Historical and Educational Meeting Dedicated to Rakhmetolla Karzhaubayev Held at Atyrau University

A historical and educational meeting titled “Rakhmetolla Karzhaubayev - A Figure of the Western Alashorda Remembered by the Nation” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The event was organized by the Department of History of Kazakhstan and World History together with the Research Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology of the Caspian Region named after Kh. B. Tabyldiev.

 

The meeting was moderated by Associate Professor Shakhman Nagymuly.

 

During the event, presentations were delivered on the life and socio-political activities of Rakhmetolla Karzhaubayev, a prominent representative of the Alash movement.

 

Among the speakers:

• Shakhman Nagymuly - “Rakhmetolla Karzhaubayev Who Sacrificed Himself for Alash”

• Associate Professor Zhamiga Tanatarova - on Karzhaubayev’s historical fate

• Associate Professor Akkali Kabizhanuly - on the history of the Western branch of Alashorda

• Associate Professor Serik Oryngaliuly - on the role of Guryev intellectuals

 

Karzhaubayev’s daughter, Dana Rahkmetollakyzy, shared personal memories, while local historian Koptileu Tazhigaliev spoke about his research.

 

Participants emphasized the importance of studying and promoting the legacy of Alash figures.
