“Legal Culture as the Foundation of Harmony and Stability”

A roundtable discussion titled “Legal Culture as the Foundation of Harmony and Stability” was organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Institute and the Legal Clinic of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The purpose of the event was to promote the principles of “Law and Order” among young people, foster legal culture, enhance legal awareness, widely advocate mechanisms for resolving disputes through legal means, and strengthen legal responsibility.

 

Participants included:

• Baktygali Nurlybek Baktygaliuly, Chief Specialist of the Department of Legal Awareness and Legal Services of the Atyrau Region Department of Justice;

• Asan Yesbosyn Balgabaiuly, member of the Atyrau Regional Bar Association and practicing lawyer;

• Almira Sisenovna Aizharikova, private notary of the Atyrau Notarial District;

• University faculty members and students of the Legal Clinic.

 

The speakers delivered presentations on legal policy, the culture of mediation, professional ethics, and youth legal literacy (including a presentation by Zarina Kaiyrova, a representative of the Legal Clinic and a second-year Law student).

 

During the practical session, experts and students worked together at case stations to analyze real legal situations and developed mini-projects titled “Common Legal Initiative.” The projects were evaluated based on relevance and practical significance.

 

For their active cooperation with the university and contribution to enhancing students’ practical knowledge, the invited specialists were awarded letters of appreciation from the Rector. Active students received tickets to the play “Mahabbat, Kyzyk Mol Zhyldar” staged at the Makhambet Drama Theatre.
