III Republican Forum of Preschool Educators Held at Atyrau University

The III Republican Forum of Preschool Educators titled “Integration of STEM, Ecology and Digital Technologies in Preschool Education” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

 

The purpose of the event was to exchange experience in effectively integrating modern educational technologies, STEM approaches, environmental culture, and digital tools into the preschool education system, as well as to enhance the professional competencies of educators.

 

At the opening ceremony, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Askhat Yeralyuly emphasized that preschool education forms the foundation for the comprehensive development of an individual. He highlighted the importance of improving educators’ digital literacy and developing an innovative educational ecosystem.

 

The forum was moderated by Professor Akmaral Mukhanbetzhanova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Dean of the Faculty of Innovative Education. Leading scholars and representatives of educational institutions delivered substantive presentations within the program.

 

Among the online speakers was Professor Saira Zhienbayeva of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, who presented a report on “The Formation of Emotional Intelligence in Preschool Age within the Context of Ontogenesis.”

 

Maria Yermanova, Director of the Early Childhood Development Institute under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, addressed key priorities in improving preschool education content and aligning it with national policy.

 

Presentations also included:

• Akgul Zhubandykova (Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University) - on developing professional competencies of future educators through artificial intelligence tools;

• Gulbanu Abitova (Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University) - on modern approaches to early career guidance for preschool children;

• Fariza Kinzhibayeva (Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University) - on creating an innovative educational ecosystem for early childhood development through the integration of STEM, ecology, and digital technologies.

 

The forum also featured a children’s performance prepared by pupils of Kindergarten No. 43 “Arman” in Atyrau, which made a special impression on participants. Educators shared best practices and demonstrated effective use of modern digital platforms and resources.

 

At the conclusion of the forum, participants were awarded certificates. The republican-level event became an important professional dialogue platform aimed at improving the quality of preschool education and fostering further development of the field.
