Winners of the "StartUp-2026" Project Announced

Since 2020, Atyrau University  K. Dosmukhamedov has been regularly organizing an internal startup competition for students and young professionals under 35 years old.

This year, a total of 31 applications were received. After selection by the jury, 17 of the best projects were submitted for expert review.

The projects were presented in four categories:

• Business

• Social

• Scientific

• University image development

The expert panel included:

– Ravil Karzhaulov – Director of Atyrau Hub
– Askar Aldan – Director of the Atyrau regional branch of the KazRobotics Kazakhstan Educational and Sports Robotics Federation, JasUp Project Manager
– Askhat Chukurov – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs
– Kansulu Otepqalieva – Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation
– Bakhyt Altynbasov – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization
– Layla Koishyghulova – Vice-Rector for Social Issues and Youth Policy

Based on the competition results, the following projects received financial support:

🔹 Kadirbergen Ardak – "Updating and Expanding the Functionality of the MOOC Platform" project (₸2,500,000)
🔹 Adaibekov Darkhan – "Maad Study" project (₸2,500,000)
🔹 Zhaksilyk Bektas – "Kerek App" project (₸2,500,000)
