Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Nico Schermers Paid an Official Visit

His Excellency Nico Schermers, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan, paid an official visit to Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University. The meeting was attended by Daryn Amanzhan, Public and Academic Diplomacy Officer, Honorary Consul of the Netherlands Talgat Imangaliyev, the university leadership, and the Office of International Cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands in the fields of education and science. Chairman of the Board - Rector Salamat Idrissov noted the shared interest in enhancing academic and scientific exchange between universities of the two countries. It was highlighted that the expansion of academic partnerships will open new opportunities for students and faculty -including mobility programs, exchange of experience, and access to international best practices. The discussion also covered the implementation of joint research projects, engagement of foreign professors, and the development of educational programs aligned with international standards. The meeting reaffirmed the parties’ strong intention to further strengthen international cooperation.
