International Guest Lecture at Atyrau University: Ambassador of the Netherlands Meets with Students

His Excellency Nico Schermers, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan, visited Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and delivered a guest lecture to students and faculty members. During the lecture, the Ambassador provided an in-depth overview of the Netherlands, highlighting the country’s historical development, current strategic priorities, and the key focus areas of the Dutch Embassy in Central Asia. He also spoke about the Netherlands’ role in the global economy, innovation, and international diplomacy, sharing insightful facts about Dutch culture and society. The meeting was held in an open dialogue format. Students and faculty had the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed information on diplomatic career pathways, academic mobility programs at Dutch universities, opportunities for participation in international research projects, and professional internships.
