The university’s achievements and current issues for 2024 were discussed in detail.

Today, the university trains specialists in 78 bachelor’s programs, 42 master’s programs, and 2 doctoral programs, providing higher and postgraduate education. All educational programs are developed in line with modern requirements and continuously updated in accordance with new educational standards. To enhance the quality of education, the university is actively implementing digital technologies, integrating modern artificial intelligence tools into the learning process, and carrying out joint educational projects with platforms such as Huawei, Astana Hub, and Coursera.

During the reporting meeting, it was noted that, in accordance with the university’s strategic goals, systematic work is being carried out to improve the quality of education, update academic programs, and meet accreditation requirements. The growth in the volume and quality of scientific research, increased participation in international projects, development of professional competencies among faculty members, support for young specialists, formation of a talent pool, improvement of students’ social conditions, and expansion of their creative and athletic activities were all emphasized. Efforts to maintain the university’s financial stability, upgrade its material and technical resources, advance digitalization, and improve infrastructure were also highlighted.

Chair of the Board of Directors Beibit Mamrayev noted that the university is consistently implementing the measures outlined in the development plan; however, several issues still require resolution. In particular, attention was drawn to the urgent need to construct a new Student House on the site of Dormitory No. 2 and Academic Building No. 2, which were declared unsafe in 2023, as well as the need to allocate a separate building for the Ustaz School and to accelerate the decision on constructing a new university building equipped with modern laboratories.
