The Tournament Honoring Amin Tuyakov

At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, a track and field tournament was held in honor of Amin Tuyakov - a 1960 graduate of the university, winner of the European Cup, multiple champion and record holder of the Soviet Union, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, and Honorary Citizen of Mangystau and Atyrau regions.

The competition brought together seven teams comprising 105 participants, including representatives from Atyrau University, several city colleges, and individual athletes.

 

100-meter race winners:

• Men’s category: Dauir Zholaman (Orlik village, Inder district), Bakytzhan Kenzhaly (Bolashak College, “Western” team), and Almat Zhasbatyrov (Polytechnic College).
• Women’s category: Zhuldyz Zamangaliyeva (“Western” team), Assel Ruslanova (Polytechnic College), and Angelina Konstantinova (Atyrau University).

 

1500-meter race winners:

• Men’s category: Yerkebulan Atashev (individual participant), Zholaman Dauir (individual participant), and Bolat Mukashev (“Western” team).
• Women’s category: Alfiya Mukhidenova (Atyrau University), Zhuldyz Zamangalikyzy (“Western” team), and Aknur Izim (Atyrau University).

All winners and prizeholders were awarded certificates, medals, and cash prizes.

The event was financially supported by the university’s trade union organization.
