
Meeting with Members of the Ethnocultural Association “Bylina”
At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the Department of Russian Philology organized a meeting with members of the ethnocultural association “Bylina” who are studying the Kazakh language. The event was dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, Sevinj Mekhtikhanly, PhD from Gilan University (Iran), who arrived in Atyrau under an academic mobility program, spoke about the peculiarities of reflecting cultural meanings in the Kazakh, Russian, and Persian languages.
Members of the Scientific and Expert Group of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan — Chairman of the ethnocultural association “Bylina” Andrey Koroblev, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Saniya Kamelova, Head of the Department of Russian Philology Uzima Dzhumagalieva, and Deputy Director of the “Ustaz” school Kairat Sissenov — emphasized the importance of knowledge and careful preservation of one’s native language, as well as the richness of the languages spoken by the multiethnic people of our country.
The meeting was also attended by Ainagul Islyamova, Head of the Department of the Public Accord Institution (Қоғамдық келісім), expert Shynargul Temirbayeva, Director of the Assembly Institute Aidanа Bakhytova, and members of the ethnocultural association “Bylina”.
