Atyrau University Lecturer Took Part in National Cycling Tour

On September 13, the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Atyrau Region organized the first-ever nationwide sports and tourism event - “Tour de Saraishyq 2025” cycling tour.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Initial Military Training at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Askar Kaziyev, also participated in the event, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
The 80-kilometer route started from the territory of the Saraishyq State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve and continued to the center of Atyrau city. Participants cycled along the city’s main streets and past its landmarks. A distinctive feature of the tour was that it was held along the historic route connecting Europe and Asia.
The large-scale event brought together 117 participants from different regions of Kazakhstan and from abroad, including amateur athletes, tourists, and international guests.
At the conclusion of the race, all participants were awarded special commemorative medals.
