Graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Law Received Diplomas

Today, the Faculty of Economics and Law at Kh. Dosmukhametov Atyrau University hosted a solemn diploma awarding ceremony.

This year, 390 graduates completed their studies at the faculty, which is committed to training competitive professionals in the fields of economics and law for the development of the nation.

The evening began with a heartfelt video montage featuring memorable student moments. The festive ceremony was attended by university leadership, faculty members, parents, and specially invited guests.

University Rector Salamat Idrissov delivered a congratulatory speech and presented diplomas and letters of appreciation to master’s graduates and students with honors in the field of economics. Special recognition was given to students who actively contributed to university life, participated in research projects, and excelled in sports and the arts.

A notable moment of the evening was the presentation of diplomas to the top-performing law graduates by Serik Yerubayev, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and proud alumnus of Atyrau University.

“Dear guests and graduates,

I sincerely congratulate you on this important occasion. I consider it a great honor to be an alumnus of Atyrau University and to witness this special moment at a university named after a revered figure of the Alash movement.

Dear graduates, today you are taking the first steps along a path that stretches for thousands of miles. With the knowledge you have gained over four years, I wish you success as future professionals contributing to our country’s economy and legal system. Best of luck!”

The event also featured diploma presentations by distinguished professionals, including:

• Nurzhan Shaedenov, Lieutenant Colonel and Head of the Department of Educational and Human Resources Work at the Atyrau Region Police Department

• Kairat Demesinov, Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Bar Association

• Meiram Kukatov, Private Judicial Officer of the Regional Chamber

• Dinara Zhamshebai, Prosecutor at the Atyrau City Prosecutor’s Office

• Anuarbek Torali, Lieutenant Colonel and Head of the Investigation Department at the Atyrau Region Police

A special feature of this year’s graduation was the awarding of the Reserve Lieutenant military rank to graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Law who successfully completed military training. Over 20 students were granted this rank by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event also featured a performance of the song “Studenttik Omir,” which left a lasting impression on the audience. Graduates and parents expressed their gratitude to the university in heartfelt closing remarks.
