Atyrau and Karabuk Universities expand cooperation
Karabuk University is a public higher education institution established in 2007 in Turkey. It comprises 16 faculties and 4 graduate schools. The university actively participates in Erasmus+ programs and the Bologna Process.
As of June 26, 2025, a delegation from Karabuk University is visiting Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University to discuss the joint organization of the 5th International Conference on Advanced Technologies, Computer Engineering and Science (ICATCES), scheduled for 2026. Today, the representatives of the university held a meeting with the Rector of Atyrau University.
It is planned that the upcoming conference will be hosted at Atyrau University and will serve as a continuation of productive cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and education.
The delegation includes Prof. Oguz Findik, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Hakan Kutucu, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Group. Both scholars have previously collaborated with Atyrau University, including through the program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at attracting international experts.
The visit of the Karabuk University delegation reflects a high level of mutual trust and a shared commitment to fostering long-term strategic partnership between the two universities.
