Students Master Rescue and Evacuation Operations
Students of the Military Department at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University are continuing their practical training in conducting rescue, evacuation, and emergency recovery operations.
These activities involve the protection and rescue of people, as well as the preservation of material and cultural assets. They aim to contain emergency situations and minimize the impact of associated hazardous factors. Such operations are often conducted under conditions that pose a serious risk to the health and lives of rescue workers and therefore require specialized training, protective equipment, and proper gear.
Understanding these requirements, students practiced searching for victims (with the assistance of service dogs), freeing people from debris, ascending to high elevations for rescue purposes, and safely lowering and evacuating victims from heights.
The training was conducted for students majoring in “Territorial Troop Planning and Organization” and was organized under the leadership of retired Major Gulnara Berdaliyeva, Deputy Head of the Training Camp for Educational and Ideological Work.
Next, the students will participate in a two-week field training exercise at a military training ground.
We wish our students the best of luck in their upcoming fieldwork!
