Military Training Camp Continues for Students of the Military Department

The military training camp for students of the Military Department at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University is currently underway.

Graduating students specializing in “Territorial Defense Planning and Organization” are taking part in hands-on training sessions held at the Emergency Rescue Unit under the Department of Emergency Situations of Atyrau Region. As part of their academic program, they participated in practical exercises on the topic: “Rescue Operations, Evacuation, and Emergency Recovery Work.”

During the training, students learned the rules for operating rescue equipment and tools while strictly adhering to safety protocols. They also became familiar with the basic use and application of gear and protective equipment used by professional rescue teams. In addition, students were introduced to specialized rescue vehicles and practiced using equipment involved in alpine-style rescue operations, including the evacuation of individuals from high-rise buildings or basements.

The students expressed their gratitude to the staff of the Emergency Rescue Unit for the opportunity to apply their two years of theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. The training exercises will continue throughout the week at various other facilities.
