“Ustaz” School Student Achieved Top Score in National Testing
Bakdaulet Mazhitov, an 11th-grade student at the “Ustaz” boarding school for gifted children under Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, scored an impressive 136 points on the Unified National Testing (UNT). He, along with school director Sanim Kaluova, was personally received by Rector Salamat Idrissov.
Bakdaulet is not only a top student academically but also a consistent winner in creative and intellectual competitions. He won the Grand Prix at the national “Makhambet Readings” competition and was honored at a special reception by the Atyrau Region Akim on June 1st, International Children’s Day.
Since joining the “Ustaz” school in September 2024, Bakdaulet has continued to build on a strong academic foundation established at the Siranov Secondary School in Yeltay village, Inder district. Starting from grade 5, he actively participated in subject Olympiads and science fairs, winning prizes at the district level. He credits his early successes to the dedicated teachers at his previous school.
“The ‘Ustaz’ school took me to a new level. I immediately gained access to national competitions from the regional stage. The quality education and meaningful guidance I received here gave me great motivation,” said Bakdaulet.
Rector Salamat Idrissov praised Bakdaulet’s accomplishments and wished him success in reaching the maximum score of 140 in his second attempt at the UNT.
“Bakdaulet is a student who has achieved his goals through perseverance and structured effort. He managed his schedule efficiently and demonstrated excellent time management. Success, first and foremost, depends on the student’s commitment, and then on the guidance provided by teachers,” said School Director Sanim Kaluova.
