Training Practice of Students Successfully Completed

First-year students of the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, enrolled in the educational program "Tourism and Service," have successfully completed their training practice in a field expedition.

The practice, organized to familiarize students with the fundamentals of organizing a tourist expedition, mastering navigation skills, and teamwork in natural conditions, as well as conducting local history excursions, took place from June 2 to June 13 in two directions.

The first direction: along the route Atyrau – Kurmangazy – Atyrau, students organized a field-based tourist expedition in the wooded area of the Kurmangazy district to refine their skills in adhering to the rules of using tourist equipment, overcoming natural obstacles, ensuring safety during the expedition, and teamwork.

The second direction: along the route Atyrau – Uralsk – Atyrau, students explored the activities of the regional historical and local history museum in Uralsk, the museum of old Uralsk, as well as the Center for Children's and Youth Tourism and Ecology, gaining valuable information about the historical and cultural values of the region and its tourism potential.

During the practice, students completed route sheets, maintained diaries for their respective directions, performed tasks, and successfully defended their final reports.

This training expedition provided students with the opportunity to gain professional experience, learn to work in a team, use tourist equipment, and become acquainted with the tourist attractions of the region.
