June 4 - State Symbols Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A solemn event dedicated to June 4 - the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan - was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.

The event, organized to foster patriotic awareness, civic responsibility, and to strengthen young people’s respect and love for the national symbols, gathered faculty members and students of the university. During the ceremony, the State Flag was raised, and participants performed the National Anthem.

“Today is a significant holiday for our country - the Day of State Symbols! I congratulate everyone on this remarkable occasion. For every citizen of Kazakhstan, this day holds great importance. The main symbols of our independence and sovereignty are our Emblem, Flag, and Anthem. We must honor this day, instill honesty and patriotism in the younger generation, and contribute to the strengthening of our country’s independence. May peace always prevail in our homeland, may our blue flag fly high, and may our emblem hold a place of honor,” said Rector Salamat Idrissov

The ceremonial gathering concluded with the ceremonial retirement of the State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At noon, the university staff took part in a public event dedicated to State Symbols Day at the flag square in Atyrau city. The gathering paid tribute to the state symbols and performed the National Anthem. Patriotic songs were performed at the event, creating a festive atmosphere for the distinguished guests and attendees. At the end of the celebration, participants took a commemorative photo.
