Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, in partnership with Karabük University (Republic of Türkiye), has launched a dual-degree educational programme.
Before the bilateral meeting began, the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the military personnel who lost their lives in a tragic incident in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau Region.
During the meeting, Salamat Idrissov, Chairman of the Management Board and Rector of Atyrau University, and Fatih Kırışık, Rector of Karabük University, signed a bilateral agreement. Under the agreement, Karabük University’s Department of Computer Engineering and Atyrau University’s Department of Software Engineering will jointly train master’s students in the Software and Computer Engineering educational programme.
As part of the programme, master’s students will study at both universities and receive two diplomas. They will benefit from the academic and research capacity of both institutions while gaining international experience. In addition, students will conduct joint research related to their master’s theses and participate in academic mobility programmes.
The dual-degree programme will also enable faculty members to exchange expertise, jointly enhance educational programmes and strengthen cooperation in research.
