A lecture titled “Voting Rights and Electoral Systems” was held at the Faculty of Economics and Law of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University.
Asiya Kystaubayeva, Chairperson of the Atyrau Regional Territorial Election Commission, delivered a lecture for students on the political changes currently taking place in the country. She also explained electoral rules and recent developments in the electoral process.
During the meeting, students learned about the fundamental principles of voting rights, the specific features of different electoral systems, as well as the rights and responsibilities of citizens in the electoral process.
The educational lecture is aimed at increasing young people’s legal literacy, fostering civic responsibility and encouraging their active participation in public life.
During the lecture, students had the opportunity to ask questions and received answers on matters related to voting rights and the electoral process.
