Fifteen students of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University have been awarded educational grants from the Qazaqstan Halqyna Public Foundation.
This year, the Foundation awarded educational grants to 220 applicants from 38 higher and postgraduate education institutions across Kazakhstan.
“The program is aimed at providing young people from rural areas, small towns, and single-industry towns with equal access to quality higher education, while supporting their professional development and helping them realize their potential. Under the grant program, the Foundation covers tuition fees of up to KZT 1 million per academic year and provides a monthly stipend of KZT 60,000 for 10 months of the academic year,” according to the Foundation’s official website, qazaqstanhalqyna.kz.
As part of this grant program, 75 students have been studying at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University since 2022. The first cohort of 12 students successfully graduated in 2026.
