CONGRATULATIONS TO PEOPLE’S WRITER OF KAZAKHSTAN VALERY MIKHAILOV ON HIS 80TH BIRTHDAY

Throughout nearly half a century of his creative career, Valery Mikhailov has explored the history and destiny of Kazakhstan, as well as the difficult periods experienced by its people, through both literary and documentary works, presenting readers with valuable works. His writings are distinguished by their profound connection between historical truth, civic responsibility, and human destiny.
The writer’s works, including Chronicle of the Great Famine and Poplar Branch, or Homeward, have made a distinctive contribution to exploring difficult periods in the history of our people, preserving the memory of the past, and revitalizing our historical consciousness. His research and essays on prominent figures of Kazakh literature and his contemporaries, as well as his many years of work in journalism, have also received high recognition within the literary and cultural community.
