Festive Event Held in Honor of Defenders of the Fatherland Day

A festive concert titled “Elin Korgau - Erge Sert” (Protecting the Homeland is a Sacred Duty) was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University in celebration of Defenders of the Fatherland Day on May 7.

The event, organized by the university’s female staff members, was dedicated to honoring the faculty and administrative personnel, especially the male colleagues.

The celebration opened with a congratulatory speech by University Rector Salamat Idrissov, who extended heartfelt congratulations to all men on the occasion and expressed deep gratitude for their contributions to the university.

Students and faculty members from various faculties showcased their talents through patriotic songs, dramatic performances, poetry recitals, and traditional dances.

The “Gylym Auyen” ensemble, composed of veteran educators, received warm applause from the audience for their performances.

Through various artistic presentations, students paid tribute to the valor of the nation’s defenders. Especially moving were the dramatic portrayals of soldiers during wartime and poetic compositions, which deeply touched the audience.

The event concluded with a group performance of a patriotic song, creating a festive and uplifting atmosphere for all participants and attendees.
