Scientific and Technical Council Meeting Held

Today, under the chairmanship of Marat Murziyev, Deputy Akim of Atyrau Region, the regular meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of Atyrau Region was held.

The agenda included the approval of the new composition of the Scientific and Technical Council for Atyrau Region, competitive selection of research and experimental-design projects for regional budget funding, and the adoption of the regulations governing the competition commission.

Several proposed scientific projects were also discussed during the meeting.

The projects focused on improving the region’s ecological situation, new methods for treating industrial wastewater, sulfur utilization, and agricultural topics.

The Scientific and Technical Council aims to support science in the region, promote the implementation of research results in production, and ensure the commercialization of scientific achievements.

The Rector of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and several university scientists are members of the Council. Two of the university’s proposed projects received positive feedback and will be recommended for funding.
