“Auyl Games – 2025”

Students of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University achieved excellent results and earned places on the winners’ podium at the “Auyl Games – 2025” national sports tournament, organized by the Auyl political party in Aktobe. The tournament brought together students from higher and secondary specialized educational institutions.
The goals of the tournament were to:
– Strengthen friendship and cooperation among students
– Promote national sports
– Encourage a healthy lifestyle
– Revive spiritual values rooted in rural traditions
The competition featured 7 national sports:
1. Asyk atu (traditional knucklebone shooting)
2. Langi tebu (traditional foot game)
3. Tug of war
4. Traditional archery
5. Togyzkumalak (Kazakh board game)
6. Kazakh wrestling
7. Futzal
Based on overall team results, the Atyrau region team secured 3rd place.
